  • How do I install my eSIM?
Let's get you started! To set up your eSIM, simply head over to our app's main page. You can't miss the prominent "Installation Guide" button right in the center. Just tap on it, and you'll be guided through a step-by-step process to successfully install your eSIM. If you run into any difficulties along the way, our team will be there to assist you at every step. Just head over to the “Help Center” of our app, to live chat with a HUBBY representative. Good luck!
  • Where is the installation QR code?
We understand the confusion, but no worries! You actually don't need a QR code for eSIM installation. Just head over to the main page of our app. Right at the center of the screen, you'll notice a clearly labeled button that says "Installation Guide". Go ahead and give it a tap, and you'll be directed to an easy-to-follow guide that will walk you through the entire process of setting up your eSIM. It's a hassle-free way to get your eSIM up and running smoothly. If you don't like this tutorial format, head over to your email address. You will find a more detailed guide there!
  • Where do I find the SM-DP+ and activation code?
You can find and copy the two codes in the 2nd step of the “Installation Guide” on the homepage of the app! You need to copy & paste these codes in your settings. After that, you’re basically done! When you arrive abroad, you just turn on data roaming & select that eSIM for mobile data. E.g. it might say “unable to activate, contact connect”. This is an annoying error message from Apple, because the installation was successful, but you’re not yet in that country!
  • Can I make phone calls?
Absolutely! But not with your physical simcard. An eSIM gives you a mobile data line. While it doesn't support traditional phone calls, you can easily make calls through WhatsApp or Skype. You can even video call from wherever you are this way! If you prefer to use your own phone-number for calls (with potential additional charges), just choose your Person SIM (Primair) in your phone settings under "standard phone line." Best of luck, and happy connecting! 😄
  • Can I reinstall my eSIM after deleting it?

  • Can I use 5G with HUBBY eSIM?
We understand the buzz around 5G and how it fits with our eSIMs. Here's what you need to know: 1. What’s the deal with our eSIMs and 4G? Our eSIMs work seamlessly with 4G LTE, providing excellent speed and reliability for most mobile users. This means smooth streaming, browsing, video calls, and even online gaming. Thus 4G is absolutely fast enough for your digital needs! 2. What's 5G about? While 5G is impressive for large-scale projects like smart cities and massive IoT (Internet of Things) deployments, its impact on day-to-day mobile use may not always be significant. There are currently virtually no use cases for 5G for mobile devices. 4. Staying Ahead: We're keeping an eye on the evolving digital landscape. If 5G becomes crucial for your daily needs, we'll be ready to offer solutions. However, for simplicity reasons, we've decided for a homogenous global data network. 5. Final Thoughts: 4G LTE is reliable for your everyday needs, while 5G is geared toward the future. Your satisfaction matters most. If you have questions, we're here for you! Thank you for choosing us and trusting our products. We're committed to ensuring you have the best mobile experience possible.
